One of Zimbabwe’s greatest 2020 events has had to be postponed due to the global pandemic, the COVID -19. Co – founder of the ZimThrive initiative, Mike Tashaya says, “It is with great sadness that we have had to come to this decision. It is the right thing to do at this moment in time. Thank you for all your support to date and let’s push even harder for December which will turn out to be a better month after all.”
Tourism is such a delicate industry and is easily affected by external factors – this week, China had a drop of 85% in flights. From a tourism perspective, that’s a huge blow to the industry.
